The Skagerak Company act as sole UK agents for Obel-P-Products, manufacturers of air driven, high pressure hydraulic pumps for use with diesel engines. Applications for this range of pumps can be used for tightening and loosening cylinder head nuts, Fuel Injection Valve Testing, or a source of hydraulic power for many types of power tools. We provide genuine Obel-P-Products spare parts and repair kits for all HP pump types.
Fuel Injection Valve Test Equipment - Type VPA 1100 Series is equipped with a built-in micro processor. This facility allows injector performance to be recorded against pre-set values. The actual opening pressure will be 'frozen' on the digital display unit. Actual opening pressures, backlash times, valve type and job number can be printed out directly from the VPA for hard copy record purposes. The VPA Series is particularly useful for engine manufacturers, injector service centres and workshops, where routine testing of differing fuel valves is carried out. For optimal use, the VPA 1100 should be purchased with a universal injector attachment. An oil mist separator kit is included with the universal attachments.
Test equipment type VPU-D 1100.2 is a standard digital test rig with pressure 'freeze' facility for injector break and venting pressure. This test rig can be used for testing MAN B&W and other manufacturers fuel valves and is typically used on board vessels for routinely testing fuel valve: Opening pressure, Leak test and venting, Jet direction & atomisation and O-ring seal test.
Fuel Injection Valve Test Equipment - Type VPU.
HPU 2500 High Pressure Hydraulic Pump.
The HPU 2250 High Pressure Hydraulic Pump is recommended for MAN B&W "S" Type engines up to and including S70MC-C.
The HPU 1500.2 Test Unit for Fuel Injector Valves, which is a dual function pump and with special attachments may be used to test small and medium sized fuel injection valves, ie. Bosch and L'Orange, plus fuel valves from MAN B&W S26MC, L35MC and L42MC engines.
Obel-P-Products manufacture a variety of fixtures and accessories to match the differences in fuel valve design and dimensions. The fixtures fall into two categories, the first for MAN B&W valves which have a frame and hydraulic powered lifting and tensioning system, the second is intended for all other valves and is designed with a rotating system to facilitate the preparation of the injector before testing, ie. dismantling the nozzle nut, etc., followed by the test procedure. It may be necessary to provide critical dimensions for certain fuel valve types.
Oil mist separator kits are available to evacuate the Perspex test containers - reducing fire risk - plus a selection of 114 ton / 204 ton 10mm stroke, hydraulic jacks.
Essential equipment for Shipowners, Ship Managers, Workshops and Power Stations.
